Binocular Astronomy Workshop

All NLO members are warmly invited to a Binocular Astronomy Workshop on Friday 4th Oct, starting 7.30pm in the Planetarium

Following on from recent Workshops on Telescopes and on Solar Observing, we invite all members to join with us for the next Workshop covering the use of Binoculars for Astronomy.  If you would like to know how to choose suitable binoculars for Astronomy or you are looking for advice on how to get the most out of using your binoculars, or you are experienced and are willing to share some of what you have learnt… then this evening is for you!

We will meet initially in the Planetarium for an Introductory talk and discussion. We will then go outside to use and compare various different binoculars to give members an appreciation of what each can do. If you have any binoculars then do please bring them! – together with warm clothing for any observing time outside.

If you have any other questions about the evening then please contact Alan Smith ( mr.alanjsmith@yahoo.co.uk ) or Mark Stephens ( marklstephens@btinternet.com ).

We trust you will be able to join us and will have an enjoyable evening!

Kind regards

Alan & Mark
