On the 10th May a huge geomagnetic storm caused bright aurora to be seen at the observatory

The aurora camera was overwhelmed by this event, with the aurora being both too tall to fit in the camera frame, and too bright at times for the camera to record properly.

A time lapse from a separate camera was also taken that evening.
