All members are warmly invited to a picnic on Friday 26th July at the NLO starting 6:30pm.
We would like to invite you all to a summer picnic on 26th July to be held at the Norman Lockyer Observatory and starting at 6:30 pm.
David Strange has polished up the fire-pit, so bring your own sausages, burgers, etc for barbecuing.
All we have to hope is that the weather holds for the evening. However, in the event of rain, the picnic will be held in the marquee. In this case, you will obviously need to bring picnic items that do not require barbecuing!
If the weather remains fine and clear, we will set up the John Pope Solar Telescope and you are also welcome to bring your own solar telescopes.
Hope you can all join us for what promises to be a good evening – even if it does rain!
Best wishes, Kerry Powell and Dave Alexander
