Moving On In Astronomy

Are you interested in learning more, observing more, discovering more?
This is our second course in Astronomy and will look at areas like: goto telescopes versus manual one, using binoculars and small telescopes for star hopping, planning and keeping a record of your observations, drawing the moon or planets, variable stars, messier objects, and many other things from the night sky.

Please be aware that those students who are 16 or under may only come on a course with an adult in attendance.

The NLO doesn’t have a card machine so if you wish to buy anything from the shop on the day please bring cash.

All courses will provide morning and afternoon tea and coffee, but you will need to bring your own food for lunch (there is a microwave on site for your use.)
